Fundación de Organización Comunitaria (FOC)
$99,000, to evaluate its grassroots development methodology and experience working with urban community organizations on health, day care, and vocational training projects in 10 neighborhoods of Lomas de Zamora in greater Buenos Aires, and to disseminate results to other NGOs, the public sector, and local community organizations. Fundación para el Ambiente Natural y el Desarrollo (FUNDANDES)
$138,650, to continue providing education and training to 270 members of nine rural community organizations who are small-scale livestock producers, mostly of indigenous descent; to improve grassroots leadership skills; and to build a network of regional communities. (AR-306)

Instituto para el Desarrollo de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (IDEMI)
$81,000, to continue operating the FOGAMI guarantee fund and replicate it in three other locations; and to leverage capital from local and international investors to provide a wider array of financial services to small-scale and microenterprises in Buenos Aires. (AR-299)
