Project Description
Low-income residents of irregular settlements of Buenos Aires face marginalization and isolation, which make it difficult for small businesses in these villas to be competitive. Asociación Civil por la Igualdad y la Justicia (ACIJ) equips entrepreneurs with the skills and support necessary to facilitate their entry into the formal economy and overcome economic and social barriers. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to expand economic opportunity in Argentina. ACIJ’s activities encourage local entrepreneurship to ensure meaningful opportunities for communities to thrive.
