Project Description
Sheep and alpaca herders in the Bolivar, Tungurahua and Chimborazo provinces have limited means to increase their income. Fundación de Organizaciones Campesinas de Salinas (FUNORSAL) works with wool producers to improve the genetic quality of their herds, to launch community enterprises and to organize as communities. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to expand economic opportunity in Ecuador. FUNORSAL’s activities encourage small business growth and local entrepreneurship to ensure meaningful opportunities for communities to thrive.
