Returned migrants face a host of challenges when reintegrating into Guatemalan society. Asociación de Retornados Guatemaltecos (ARG) facilitates their transition by connecting them with potential employers and creating partnerships with the government that provide greater vocational training and job placement opportunities. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to strengthen economic prosperity in Guatemala.
This grant is part of the IAF’s broader initiative to improve prosperity, security, and democratic governance at the community level, consistent with the U.S. Strategy for Engagement in Central America.

Talk about community-led development!
In a context like Honduras in which violence and poverty abound but jobs do not, how do young people find hope? Many IAF grantees have been working to provide it.
