Traditional Haitian dance and musical groups that encourage cultural pride, especially among young people, have limited access to affordable resources that support their work. Sant Pon Ayiti (SPA) provides technical assistance to Troupe Culturelle Dahomey to document and disseminate its performances in Haiti and the Caribbean and expand its skills in technique, sound recording, management and business. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to expand economic opportunity in Haiti. SPA’s activities encourage small business growth and market development to ensure meaningful opportunities for communities to thrive.
