Cap-Haitian residents with disabilities face barriers to resources that allow them to integrate in their communities and participate fully in society. Association d’Aide des Techniciens pour les Personnes Handicapées (AATPH) works to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities through disability-inclusive community outreach campaigns and technical assistance to develop sign language skills. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to strengthen governance in Haiti. AATPH’s activities strengthen excluded communities so they can improve their living conditions and participate equally in political, economic and social life.
