Project Description

Women living in rural and indigenous communities in Mexico face high rates of gender-based violence. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to promote human rights and inclusion through education and training. Our grantee partner, Coordinación Interregional Feminista Rural “Comaletzin” (Comaletzin), trains local women leaders in eight states to promote gender equity and reduce gender-based violence, equipping them with the skills to replicate the training and build peer-to peer learning and action networks that promote inclusive development in their communities.
