One of the common expressions of poverty in both individuals and communities is the tendency to overlook and undervalue resources they have for initiating and carrying out community development activities. La Asociación de Comunidades de la Peninsula de Cosigüina (ACODEPEC) provides technical, organizational and administrative assistance to facilitate and fund development initiatives. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to strengthen governance in Nicaragua. ACODEPEC’s activities strengthen communities through education and training and build peer-to-peer learning and action networks.
