Project Description
Smallholder organic farmers in Paraguay often struggle to obtain technical assistance and access to markets for their products. Asociación Paraguay Orgánico (PY Orgánico) trains a network of small farmers in sustainable organic agriculture techniques and facilitates channels for these farmers to sell their organic products. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to expand economic development in Paraguay. PY Orgánico’s activities promote smallholder agriculture to enhance food security and ensure meaningful opportunities for communities to thrive.
