Project Description
While institutions of community philanthropy in Latin America and the Caribbean engage in individual projects, they lack access to a relevant global community of practice with which to connect. Global Fund for Community Foundations (GFCF) collaborates with community foundations and social funds to develop a network that promotes philanthropy in the region’s communities. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to strengthen governance in Latin America and the Caribbean. GFCF’s activities further actions and institutions that make more resources available to communities seeking to address their own development needs.
