Kara Rogers joined the Inter-American Foundation in 2014. She serves as the senior Contracting Officer Representative and lead human resources specialist. Prior to joining the IAF, Kara served as the lead Contract Specialist for the Europe, Mediterranean, and Asia Region at the Peace Corps. From 2011–2012, she served as the Administrative Specialist for the Peace Corps overseas staff training program and as a Program Analyst in the Office of Global Health and HIV. Kara served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Rwanda (2009–2011) where she focused on public health and organizational capacity development in rural health centers. Kara holds a bachelor’s degree in Government with a concentration in international relations from California State University Sacramento and a master’s degree in Social Development Policy and Management with a specialization in health and population from the University of Wales Swansea.
