Program Staff Assistant
Shervin Chambers joined the IAF in 2019. Most recently worked as a Program Support Analyst for New York City’s Department of Education in the Office of Talent Research and Data. Before that, he served as a Sustainable Agricultural Systems’ Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama. During his first two years of service, Shervin worked with small-scale farmers to improve crop yields and implement sustainable farming practices. In his last year with Peace Corps. Shervin served as a Volunteer Coordinator helping Peace Corps staff with site identification, managing local partnerships, and Volunteer support. Shervin was born in St Lucia and moved to New York City as a teenager where he completed high school and then attended Bates college in Maine earning a BA in Economics and a minor in Spanish. He Speaks English, Spanish and French Creole.
